Take the next step in love after school

“Whoa, what is all this?”

Several years have already passed since I moved away from the town where I was born and raised.

Returning after so long, I find that the town has changed in all sorts of ways, and I feel no nostalgia at all.

“It's been a while... How have you been?”

Even the childhood friend who calls out to me has transformed into a gyaru, leaving me wondering who she is.

In this unsettling environment, my new life—I am Kiyoshiro Kuzumi—begins.

Influenced by an unusual girl who is also a transfer student and says she likes the trip home from school, I take this opportunity to adopt a more positive outlook. I begin noticing how many new encounters and opportunities there actually are in everyday life.

“You don't have any friends, do you? Poor thing...” a senior laments when we first meet.

“Senpai, w-would you like to walk home together?” someone asks.

Sometimes someone speaks to me; sometimes I take the initiative. A girl from another school waits for me outside the school gate.

When I think that the student life with a girlfriend I have secretly wanted must surely lie somewhere along this path,

every day begins to feel exciting.
