Story

“I hereby declare! Our student council has finally won the freedom to fall in love!”

At my declaration, the students surge forward, and a circle of jubilation spreads around me throughout the academy.

For more than a hundred years since its foundation, a school rule banning romance had bound its students. Today is the day that rule was abolished—and the day I became a hero whose name would be passed down in this academy.

But there was one enormous miscalculation: as the representative responsible for the students, I had no time to leisurely enjoy a romance!

Now I no longer knew why I had fought to lift the ban. And if any problems arose, the abolition might be overturned...

“Would you teach me about love?”

The beautiful transfer student I had known long ago suddenly confessed her feelings to me.

Then, the very next day: “Would you accept my feelings for you, senpai?” “No one but you could possibly be the boyfriend of someone as perfectly cute as me!”

The charismatic student council president of our sister school—and even the academy idol who had won its beauty contest two years running!

But the student council vice-president, one of the few opponents of romance, solemnly told me: “Let's make plenty of mistakes between a boy and a girl! And aim to overturn the lifting of the ban on romance!”

Yes, this was precisely a welcome miscalculation!

“I'm happy you all feel that way, but first I'd like us to begin by getting to know each other.”

“Then it has to be me. After all, I understand you better than anyone♪”

My childhood friend confessed at exactly that moment, as though she had been waiting for it.

No sooner had romance been permitted than some of the academy's most popular girls began showing their affection for me. And so, my romances with the girls approaching me with all their might suddenly began...

Shiori Hanamori

The protagonist's childhood friend, she has always been by his side and understands him better than anyone.

She contributed to lifting the ban on romance with a purpose of her own. Calm, reserved and a woman of few words, she supports the protagonist quietly and is respected by those around her as a traditional Japanese ideal of grace.

She feels happiest when she is with him, so she always stays close and does her best for him.

Ayaka Yuuki

The academy idol has won its beauty contest two years running and is overwhelmingly popular with both boys and girls.

She loves being admired; the desire to be praised is what drives her.

Her bright, flashy personality may make her seem like a flirt, but she is actually the opposite: innocent, inexperienced and sensible about relationships.

When she tries to charm the protagonist, she ends up unable to bear her own embarrassment and becomes flustered.

Yui Kozuka

The charismatic student council president of the sister school on the same island comes from an old, distinguished local family with deep ties to the academy.

She takes pride in herself as a woman and always tries to be the mature, admirable woman she imagines she should be.

With the protagonist, she sometimes shows an almost maternal warmth that is surprising in someone younger than him, putting him at ease.

Because her mature manner comes so naturally, the innocent expressions she unexpectedly shows can make his heart flutter.

Kasumi Koshimizu

A beautiful girl he knew as a child transfers to the academy to meet the protagonist again.

She says she will accept anything he wishes and directs unconditional affection toward him alone.

But Kasumi never takes the initiative herself; instead, she uses sweet words to encourage him to make the first move.

Her feelings seem so straightforward that he is constantly faced with deciding whether they are pure affection or whether something lies behind them.
