Actor and artist Takuya Kimura plays the protagonist, giving a passionate performance as Takayuki Yagami, a man who rises again after being plunged into the depths of despair.

Accomplished actors Shosuke Tanihara, Kenichi Takito and Akira Nakao join the main cast surrounding him. Songs by the rock band [ALEXANDROS] enrich the substantial story, created under the general direction of Toshihiro Nagoshi.

As a detective, you must pursue the mysteries behind many different cases. To do so, you use a wide variety of investigation actions.

Interview people, present evidence, tail suspects, pursue targets, disguise yourself, pick locks, investigate in Search Mode and take covert photographs in Scoop Missions. Use these skills to assemble the circumstances, physical evidence and witness testimony.

Your investigations may also meet with various forms of interference. At times, you must overcome your enemies directly through combat.

A wide variety of side cases and places to play

Alongside the serial murders at the heart of the main story, you can improve your skills as a detective by investigating the different incidents that city residents bring to you as Side Cases.

These cases also reveal many varied and unexpected sides of Takuya Kimura through the protagonist Yagami.

The city offers all kinds of leisure activities, from familiar casinos, gambling parlors and pinball to numerous arcade games at Club SEGA. You can also race drones across the city and play a board game inspired by virtual reality.
