Discover the inexplicable: a tale of love and courage
A story set somewhere far away from here.
Explore an underground labyrinth filled with mysteries.
You are the soul dwelling inside a spirit lantern owned by the witch Madame Marta. Following her orders, you set out to explore an underground labyrinth that no one has conquered.
The companions you lead are neither people nor animals. They are puppet soldiers: magical beings created by the witch.
When this unusual group of magically born beings and the strange lantern forms a witch's brigade and challenges the labyrinth, a wondrous adventure in search of Curios begins.
Eureka: the exploration assistant
A cheerful, gentle girl who comes to Galleria Manor after seeing an advertisement for an explorer. As Madame Marta's assistant, she helps with the labyrinth exploration.
She is good at housework and looks after the spirit lantern that represents the player.
The mysterious spirit lantern
The lantern contains the Wandering Spirit summoned by Madame Marta. As the player's other self, it leads the puppet soldiers in their exploration of the underground labyrinth.
It cannot move on its own, so it works with its medium Eureka above ground and the puppet soldiers below.
Madame Marta: the elderly witch
An elderly witch also known as Granny. She uses the explorers to search for the Curios sleeping in the underground labyrinth and specialises in spirit summoning and alchemy.
Pericot: the witch's granddaughter
Madame Marta's granddaughter travels with her and usually helps her. She loves cats and is a clumsy, rather unsociable girl.
Form Covens and conquer the labyrinth
Lead groups of characters called Covens as you explore the labyrinth. Each Coven consists of several puppet soldiers and has different abilities according to its members and its own characteristics.
You can take up to five Covens into the labyrinth. Battles unfold through the attacks and defences of these multiple groups.
Group battles with up to 40 characters, plus more
Three characters per Coven can participate directly in battle. Depending on the Coven, however, up to eight characters can be involved. Five Covens of eight characters allow up to 40 participants: this large-scale group combat is how the witch's brigade fights.
Mira Machina appear as an additional new force in this game. Summon them to stand in front of each Coven, where they act as shields and support the battle with a variety of abilities.
Puppet soldiers and Facets
Puppet soldiers come in many types, known as Facets. Even among the same kind of puppet soldier, different Facets greatly change statistics and skills, and give them different roles in battle.
Explore a labyrinth where enemies are visible
The labyrinth is a 3D dungeon explored from the player's first-person viewpoint. Enemies on the field appear as visible symbols; touching one starts a battle.
Enemies and allies move one square at a time simultaneously. This allows adventures such as avoiding encounters while seizing rare items.
You can also destroy walls within the labyrinth with the Wall Break skill. Explore freely and let your imagination guide you.
Japanese first-print limited edition
