LET IT DIE is a survival-action game set in a world transformed by a massive tectonic upheaval in 2026. The friendly grim reaper Uncle Death urges the protagonist to reach the summit of the Tower of Barbs, which appeared after the upheaval.

Immersing himself in the DEATH DRIVE 128 game hardware, the protagonist challenges the tower in nothing but underwear. GungHo and Grasshopper combine survival of the fittest, roguelike exploration and asynchronous player-versus-player conflict in a chaotic, colorful world.

Acquire everything as you climb

Your avatar, the Fighter, begins in underwear and must obtain weapons and equipment on location to reach the tower’s summit.

The Tower of Barbs changes every day, creating an unpredictable roguelike dungeon. Switch between distinctive weapons to sweep aside enemies. The original manufacturer description highlights more than 600 million combinations of weapons and equipment.

Strong weapons and armor alone will not take you to the top. The paid item Death Metal is used for conveniences such as saving time and continuing after defeat. Improve your own skills and land spectacular Goretastic Attacks.

Asynchronous PvP against players around the world

Join a team of your choice and raid other players’ Waiting Rooms, their home bases, to take Kill Coins and SPLithium.

Your own Waiting Room can also be attacked. Assign strong Fighters to defend it; failed defenses can leave the base in ruins.

When you defeat Fighters at the bases you raid, you can sometimes bring them home. After a period of initialization, they become your own Fighters.

Characters in a chaotic, colorful world

Uncle Death is a cheerful grim reaper who respects you as a gamer and calls you “Senpai.” He invites you to play LET IT DIE, but his identity and objectives remain mysterious.

Kiwako Seto is a mysterious, beautiful insurance saleswoman from Direct Hell. When you die, she appears to offer a continue. She is subdued and graceful.

Original Uncle Prime Edition item package

The original special package was designed to be useful to both new and existing players.

The premium decal does not disappear when a Fighter dies. It can be applied to another Fighter again at the Mushroom Club.

Weapons have durability and break after sufficient use. They can be purchased repeatedly at the Choku-Funsha weapon shop.

The game content is the same as the original download edition released February 2, 2017. Separate paid content is available.
