A tale of the moon
They say the moon created the world... I heard that fairy tale long ago... when my mother was still here...
They say the world vanished and was reborn time and again...
I still remember the moon drawn in the picture book... Huge... Cold... Beautiful... Frightening...
But that is a fairy tale. The moon says nothing and does nothing... Yes, it has always been that way...
A neo-traditional RPG for every RPG fan
Lost Sphear is the second Project SETSUNA title from Tokyo RPG Factory and Square Enix.
A fleeting, poignant story, distinctive and appealing characters, strategic combat that adds movement to Active Time Battle 2.0, and highly flexible customisation combine traditional RPG style with a modern feel.
As the protagonist Kanata, use the awakened power of memory and set out with your companions to save a world disappearing together with its memories.
Story
This world is created from memories. As people live, they become memories of the planet, and the world takes shape.
Some memories come from the unimaginably distant past; others belong to this very moment.
And when memories disappear, existence disappears too. People call this phenomenon Lost.
What has become Lost cannot be restored by human power. This should have been an unchanging law, in every age.
Yet a boy who can use the power of memory appears in the world. His name is Kanata.
Is he hope for the world, or a new despair? Nobody knows.
But there is no doubt that Kanata’s journey through memories, now about to begin, will have a great effect on the world.
