A completely new RPG takes you to an academy connected to the Otherworld. Fight alongside the companions whose destinies lead to four endings, wielding a daemon's power fuelled by your own Ego and madness.

Story

Suddenly, you awaken at Shin Mikado Academy, cut off from the outside world by a mysterious force field.

A mysterious mist drives people mad. Strange telephone calls connect to the Otherworld. Seven daemon Pactbearers wield extraordinary abilities through their Egos.

Madness. Abnormality. Violence. To resist this irrationality, you obtain the Authority of Vanity, a daemon's power that feeds on your own Ego and madness.

The True Student Council is formed to resolve the academy's abnormal situation. As its deputy leader, you choose a Buddy from four candidates and fight against this irrationality to restore the academy.

Then, after “■■■ and the ■ of ■■”, you find yourself at a crossroads of fate.

With whom will you walk the path towards its conclusion?

Free-movement, turn-based command battles with up to six units

Combat uses a free-movement, turn-based command system. Attacking from behind, coordinating attacks with nearby allies, and judging the situation while constantly considering friendly and enemy positions are essential. Your control of the battlefield holds the key to victory.

The exhilaration of mastering madness and overcoming your opponents

Authority is a powerful ability that you can activate at the cost of raising your MAD Gauge. When the gauge reaches its maximum, you enter a state of madness: you attack friend and foe indiscriminately for several turns, then self-destruct and become unable to fight.

If you can master this madness, it becomes one of your most powerful tools.

The thrill and catharsis of exploring an abnormal academy

Inside the mist, telephone calls connect you to the Otherworld, where the source of the academy's abnormalities exists. To resolve the crisis, you must search for areas where you can receive these calls while exploring the mist.

The telephone motif is central to this game's distinctive system.

Companions whose destinies lead to four endings

Meet them at Shin Mikado Academy, fight together and deepen your bonds.

Whose hand will you ultimately take? Where will that fate lead? Will the four destinies ever intersect?

Only you, who choose your destiny and move forward, can know the answers. Each Buddy leads to a different ending.

EGO: your desires expressed across seven axes

Pride, wrath, envy, lust, greed, gluttony and sloth.

As the story progresses, diagnostic questions appear. The answers you give can greatly change which values increase. How your EGO develops depends on your own Ego.

Fiends, reflections of your Ego

Fiends are daemons that only you can command. Among their seven attributes, those reflecting your own Ego become available first.

You can customise a Fiend's appearance and voice. The stronger your Ego, the wider the possibilities for improving its equipment.

The creators and music

Character designs are by so-bin, with a scenario by Fuyuki Hayashi and Ryutaro Ito. Kazunari Suzuki and Aya Nishitani provide scenario supervision and collaboration.

Tsukasa Masuko creates the background music, and LANCARSE Ltd. develops the game. KAMITSUBAKI RECORD provides the main theme and insert songs, featuring KAF, RIM, harusaruhi, Isekaijoucho, KOKO and CIEL.

PlayStation 5 upgrade

The physical PlayStation 4 version can be upgraded to the PlayStation 5 version at no additional cost. Upgrading from the PS4 disc requires a PlayStation 5 console equipped with a disc drive.
