Choose: good or evil
A fully voiced adventure unfolds in a fictional London where medical technology has advanced.
While investigating a series of murders, private detective Arthur Hewitt discovers a body. Perhaps because of the shock, he becomes aware of “another person” within himself.
In a strange shared existence with a phantom who calls himself Jack the Ripper, Arthur is drawn into a major incident involving all of London.
Compelling character illustrations
A private detective. A serial killer. A London police officer. A mafia executive. A doctor. A female tutor. A member of the clergy. A Thames mudlark. A vagrant...
A varied cast symbolizing the light and shadow of nineteenth-century London is rendered with an appealing, substantial illustrative touch.
A detective and a killer—choices change the outcome
Your choices branch into a Detective Route or a Killer Route.
Will you be a detective who thinks rationally and exposes a criminal's crimes, or a killer who acts on impulse and judges criminals with his own hands?
Advance the story by considering how you would feel in that situation.
The results of your choices have a major impact on the story's conclusion, including how the case is resolved and whether characters live or die.
A substantial story of a killer and a detective
The story is divided into chapters, with completely different Detective Route and Killer Route endings prepared for each case.
Alongside the main story, sub-stories depict the other side of each chapter, the characters' everyday lives and their pasts.
There are numerous additional features, including profiles and a database that collects terminology.
