PlayStation 4 Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Complete Edition

One day, a boy became king...

The latest fantasy RPG in the Ni no Kuni series follows Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, which won numerous awards overseas. Level-5 returns to plan and produce the game, with music by Joe Hisaishi and character designs by former Studio Ghibli artist Yoshiyuki Momose.

Driven from his country by conspiracy, the young king Evan resolves to build his own kingdom after parting with someone dear to him. This is the story of a boy becoming a great king and defeating a great evil.

The world of Ni no Kuni

Freely explore vast, beautiful fields presented like a diorama.

Battle system

Fight at close range with weapons such as swords or attack from afar with magic cast using a wand. Combinations of buttons produce different close-range attacks, while a longer casting time increases the power of ranged magic. Consume the skill gauge to use powerful special techniques called skills.

Work together with the Higgledies

Higgledies are reliable allies who connect with Evan and his companions and fight alongside them. They provide varied effects in battle, from attacking with spears to healing injured friends. Charging a skill lets you draw on the power of surrounding Higgledies.

The Spinning Slash skill can combine with fire, water, wind and other Higgledies, producing attacks that mix different elements. Aqua Ball activates through a combined attack with water Higgledies, raising the magic's level to produce a powerful assault. Many other combinations are possible: use weapons, magic, Higgledies and skills together to challenge mighty enemies.

Skirmish battles

Command units with different characteristics to defeat approaching enemy armies. Make effective use of each unit leader's tactics to gain the advantage.

Build your own kingdom

Develop a kingdom of your own. Gather talented people and construct facilities such as weapon-production workshops and magic research institutes. Manage the castle, the town's various facilities and its people, focusing on their development. A flourishing kingdom helps you progress through the adventure, so build your personal My Kingdom.

Characters

Evan, voiced by Mirai Shida, is the former king of Ding Dong Dell. He inherited the throne at a young age after his father's death. Kind-hearted and intelligent but reserved, he was doubted as a potential king before a coup drove him out of his country.

Roland, voiced by Hidetoshi Nishijima, is the 48-year-old president of a great nation in the other world, where he enjoys very high public support as a young leader. In Ni no Kuni, he acts as a young man of twenty.

Tani, voiced by Mugi Kadowaki, is the daughter of sky-pirate leader Batu. Raised by her naturally commanding father, she has a very tomboyish personality. She secretly likes cute, girlish things, but rarely shows it because it does not fit her image.

Batu, voiced by Kotaro Yoshida, is feared throughout Ni no Kuni as the Sky Viper. His territory is the Cloudcoil Canyon. Bold and naturally authoritative, he is deeply respected by the sky pirates. He found Tani when she was small and raised her as his daughter.
