The Ninja Gaiden series

Take the role of master ninja Ryu Hayabusa and confront the strange beings known as Fiends, who bring disaster upon the world. Enjoy the exhilaration of racing across expansive environments depicted with beautiful graphics, highly responsive high-speed action portrayed through fluid animation, and battles that demand an awareness of attack and defence reminiscent of competitive fighting games.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma

This 3D action game depicts the deadly struggle between Ryu Hayabusa, wielder of the Dragon Sword, and the Fiends of the Vigoor Empire. Fast-paced ninja action, stage designs that make full use of three-dimensional space and uncompromising difficulty define the experience.

Based on the Xbox version of Ninja Gaiden, Sigma introduced refinements such as improved enemy AI, made heroine Rachel playable, and added new elements including dual swords when it was released for PlayStation 3. A Mission Mode is unlocked after completing the main game.

Story

To test his strength, Ryu Hayabusa infiltrates the residence of the independent ninja group known as the Shadow Clan, making his way to the inner chambers where his uncle Murai awaits. This is where the story begins.

The Dragon Sword is an ancient blade handed down through the Dragon Clan, the counterpart to the sinister Dark Dragon Blade. It is said that an ancient warrior who fought evil used it to defeat a black dragon. Passed into the modern era by the Hayabusa ninja, descendants of the Dragon Clan, it is now held by Ryu Hayabusa.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

The second PlayStation 3 entry in the Ninja Gaiden series won widespread acclaim around the world for its beautiful graphics, fluid action and battles that combine overwhelming speed, tension and exhilaration. Ryu Hayabusa, Rachel, Momiji and Ayane appear as four playable characters.

Chapter Challenge lets you select the chapters you want to play, while Ninja Record provides detailed information about your battle achievements. Ryu has nine types of main weapon, with additions such as claws, a chain-and-sickle, a great scythe and tonfa. In Tag Missions, you can form a team with your favourite heroine.

Story

Ryu Hayabusa's home, the Hayabusa village, burns to the ground. Genshin, leader of the Black Spider Clan and heir to its long-standing feud with the Hayabusa Clan, repeatedly stands in Ryu's path as he struggles to prevent the resurrection of an evil deity.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

True to the sharpness suggested by its name, Razor's Edge pursues an exceptionally demanding and rewarding game system to its limits, delivering the ultimate high-speed ninja action. The appearance of Kasumi, a heroine from the Dead or Alive series, also attracted attention.

Following the previous game, Chapter Challenge allows you to choose stages and characters freely. The Tests of Valor combat sections cater especially to series fans seeking even more battles.

Story

A masked regent places a curse known as the Grip of Murder on Ryu Hayabusa's right arm. Ryu challenges LOA, the world's foremost conglomerate, which also uses cutting-edge technology to manufacture combat weapons.

Previously released content and playable characters

The collection also brings together previously released downloadable content, including game modes and costumes from the individual titles. Numerous costumes are available for Hayabusa and the female characters, letting you enjoy action battles in your preferred appearance.

In addition to Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, Momiji and Kasumi are playable. Team up with your favourite characters and enjoy combat while switching the character you control. The heroines are the same as in the original versions; the playable characters and available scenes or modes differ between the three games.

Collection mode differences

Online cooperative play is not included in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2's Tag Missions. Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge does not include any Clan Battle content from Shadow of the World, and Ninja Trials does not include online cooperative play.

Reversible cover artwork

The first-production release featured a specially designed reversible cover, allowing either side's artwork to be displayed. This packaging feature is not guaranteed with a Used copy.
