Persona 5, the picaresque coming-of-age RPG that surpassed 2.7 million sales worldwide and won numerous game awards, returns transformed by many additional elements.

New characters and an unexplored third school term reveal depths left untold in Persona 5.

New places and events enrich student life further. After school, the Phantom Thieves find changes in the Palaces they must conquer, including new enemies, mechanisms and mysterious treasures.

Witness the new exploits of the heart-stealing Phantom Thieves.

A mysterious band steals the hearts of corrupt adults

Calling themselves the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, they have thrown the great metropolis of Tokyo into an uproar.

What they steal are the hearts of corrupt adults filled with distorted desires. Those who receive their calling cards are said to confess their crimes and reform.

Teachers who tyrannize students, fraudulent financiers, and artists who steal others' work: these corrupt adults are their targets.

An unprecedented drama of changing hearts begins.

School life filled with events

Moving to Tokyo in spring, you begin attending a city high school.

Alongside regular examinations, school life brings many events, including excursions, school trips and cultural festivals.

As a high school student, you meet many different people and spend a richly eventful year.

This game adds numerous events, including the third school term not depicted in Persona 5.

Enjoy your royal school life.

Make corrupt adults repent

Ordinary high school students by day, the protagonists become daring thieves who shake the city after school.

The Phantom Thieves of Hearts target corrupt adults with distorted desires.

They infiltrate Palaces, other worlds reflecting the distorted realities within those adults' hearts, to change those hearts.

Each Palace contains mechanisms and powerful enemies that block your path. Use Phantom Thief actions to conquer these distinctive places.

This game adds elements that make Palace infiltration more enjoyable and comfortable, including mysterious treasures and new actions using a grappling wire.

Deepen bonds with your allies

Some people you meet at school and around the city possess special knowledge and abilities.

When your interests align and you strike a deal, you can establish a cooperative relationship.

Deepening these bonds makes your life as a Phantom Thief more rewarding.

Actively engage with people around the city, strengthen your bonds and gain powerful cooperation.

New characters include Kasumi Yoshizawa and Takuto Maruki. Discover how deepening your relationships with them supports the Phantom Thieves.

More advanced and exhilarating battles

The Persona series' popular turn-based command battles become even more exhilarating. Use a single button to unleash attacks with weapons, guns and the power of the heart, Persona.

Strike an enemy's weakness to knock it down and gain another attack.

Knock down every enemy to launch an all-out attack.

Exploit weaknesses to gain the advantage in battle.

A new formidable enemy type appears in the Palaces. These enemies are difficult to overcome, but defeating them yields valuable items.
