And there are ninjas and dinosaurs in town...!?

Enjoy a slightly mysterious summer-vacation adventure with Shin chan and the Nohara family in the nature-filled town of Asso.

Story

Shinnosuke's family is going to stay at the home of an old friend of Misae's for one week of summer vacation.

Hiroshi has to travel to Kyushu on business, so the family has come along with him.

The friend's house is in Asso, a town about an hour's drive from Kumamoto, Misae's hometown. Magnificent scenery and streets retaining a nostalgic atmosphere spread out at the foot of Mount Asso.

On arriving at Asso Station, a suspicious-looking man gives them a camera.

It is a mysterious camera that saves whatever it photographs as a drawing.

With the camera in hand, Shinnosuke runs around the beautiful countryside, fields and farmland, playing, taking pictures of all kinds of things, and enjoying summer vacation to the fullest.

He makes friends too. But for some reason, his friends here look exactly like his friends from kindergarten...

One night, Shinnosuke goes out to enjoy the cool evening air and witnesses a huge creature appear in the light of the full moon.

A man looks up at the enormous creature and laughs loudly. It is the same man who gave him the mysterious camera at the station.

His name is Professor Akuno. He is actually a brilliant inventor who has used an “ancient time machine” of his own creation to summon fearsome dinosaurs into the present.

Having witnessed the entire scene, Shinnosuke finds himself drawn into the professor's ambitions...!
