Supersonic action returns in vibrant colour

The 3D action game Sonic Colours, originally released in 2010, returns in an enhanced version for PlayStation 4. Race at high speed through richly dimensional stages that switch between 3D and 2D, overcoming a variety of obstacles and stage mechanisms along the way.

Alongside upgraded graphics and sound, new actions, items, customisation features and many other additions give the game a colourful new life. Enjoy stages with diverse settings in the enormous space amusement park, Egg Planet Park, with many different ways to play, more beautiful visuals and newly remixed background music.

Sonic Colours, vividly renewed

Characters and stages have been refined in higher resolution for a more vibrant appearance. The opening theme, “Reach For The Stars”, and the background music for every stage and boss have been updated with a 2021 sound.

New remix versions of tracks included in the original game have also been added. Discover the game's exciting world through more beautiful imagery and exhilarating music.

Accessibility evolves to Ultimate

The Jade Wisp, first introduced in Team Sonic Racing, joins the adventure, adding the new Colour Power “Jade Ghost”.

Other additions include new systems and items that make the game easier for action-game beginners to enjoy, customisation features and a variety of further new elements.

An adventure in the enormous Egg Planet Park

The adventure takes place in a vast amusement park that turns entire planets into attractions, including a resort-style entrance, a confectionery factory above the clouds, and a parade of space battleships.

In this amusement park, Sonic encounters unusual robots and colourful aliens called Wisps as his new adventure begins. Borrow the Wisps' abilities to activate special actions called Colour Powers, and enjoy varied, exhilarating action.
