Whatever happened, I remembered the blue of summer

Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE comes to PlayStation 4 in Full HD!

This romance adventure was created by Key, Visual Arts' game brand responsible for many acclaimed works including CLANNAD, Little Busters! and LOOPERS. First released for PC in 2020, the popular game was warmly received alongside its Nintendo Switch version released in 2021, and now comes to PlayStation 4.

Story

The protagonist, Hairi Takahara, uses his summer vacation to travel alone to Torishirojima, where he will sort through his late grandmother's belongings.

Days spent close to nature offer experiences unknown to city life. This way of living seems to bring back something nostalgic that he had forgotten.

He meets a girl gazing at the sea. He meets a girl searching for mysterious butterflies. He meets a girl seeking memories and a pirate ship. He meets a girl living by a quiet lighthouse.

He makes new friends on the island. He finds himself wishing this summer vacation would never end.

Seven heroines and enjoyable minigames

Set on a peaceful, remote island, the game nostalgically depicts a summer vacation spent with friends. Seven heroines have their own routes, and minigames inspired by activities such as playing table tennis with your companions add to the enjoyment.

A substantial, finely crafted story is presented with beautiful graphics, moving music and a variety of dramatic effects.

Full voice acting by a popular cast

The seven heroines are voiced by Konomi Kohara, Natsumi Takamori, Tomomi Mineuchi, Emiri Iwai, Saku Ichimiya, Sahomi Koyama and Fairouz Ai.

Distinctive supporting characters are voiced by Aimi Tanaka, Kentaro Kumagai, Yohei Hamada, Megumi Takamoto, Minoru Shiraishi, Kana Hanazawa, Konomi Suzuki and Shoya Chiba. This popular cast brings the story vividly to life with full voice acting; the protagonist is voiced only in some sections.

Full HD visuals

While the Nintendo Switch version offered HD visuals at 1280×720 pixels, the PlayStation 4 version supports Full HD at 1920×1080 pixels. Enjoy this moving story in even greater visual detail.

Shiroha Naruse — voiced by Konomi Kohara

The girl who forgot summer vacation.

“You'd be better off not paying too much attention to me.”

A cool, shy girl from the island. Her grandfather is practically the only person she is close to, leaving her isolated there.

After spending so much time alone, she does not know how to get along with others and sometimes says things without considering their feelings. She can often be found gazing at the sea on the outskirts of the island.

Ao Sorakado — voiced by Natsumi Takamori

The girl following the island's legends.

“Anyway, if I'm asleep, just leave me alone.”

An island girl who treats boys and girls alike as friends. She works part-time at the island's candy shop and is liked by people of every age.

She travels with a wild fox—or is it? She is often seen sleeping in different places around the island, apparently an everyday sight for the residents.

Kamome Kushima — voiced by Tomomi Mineuchi

The young lady searching for a pirate ship.

“Let's go. Once more, to the place where the pirate ship is.”

A mysterious girl met on the island, always pulling a large suitcase. She absolutely refuses to reveal what is inside it.

Like the protagonist, she is staying only for this summer. Apparently searching for something, she wanders around with an old map in her hand. She calls it a treasure map.

Tsumugi Wenders — voiced by Emiri Iwai

The girl searching for herself.

“I'm searching for something. I'm looking for what I want to do.”

A girl who appears near the island's lighthouse. Sincere and straightforward, she has mixed German heritage and uses her summer vacation to search for something she wants to do.

She clears away rubbish washed ashore, treasures the still-useful things she finds, and groans “Mugyu” when troubled or at a loss for words. She often hums old songs from another country.

Miki Nomura — voiced by Saku Ichimiya

The sniper of Torishirojima.

“It's a small way of repaying this island.”

A girl in the public-order enforcement division of the Torishirojima youth group. She mercilessly shoots anyone who disrupts the island's order with her homemade modified water pistol, the Hydro Gladiator Kai.

She also handles broadcasts from the broadcasting tower and keeps a thorough watch over the island. This summer, an assignment to write a Torishirojima tourism article for a local newspaper sends her running all over the island. She lives there alone.

Shizuku Mizuori — voiced by Sahomi Koyama

The student council president at the mainland school attended by the island's students. During summer vacation, she visits the island to see Tsumugi.

She is often together with Tsumugi at the island's lighthouse. She joins her friends in rebuilding a beach house said to have once stood on the island.

Umi Kato — voiced by Aimi Tanaka

Summer's lost child.

“You don't look very cheerful. Would you like some fried rice?”

The protagonist's second cousin, a girl visiting the Kato household this summer vacation. Fried rice is her specialty, and she is exceptionally passionate about it. Reliable and composed, she speaks with a maturity beyond her years.

She often treats the protagonist rather harshly. Perhaps with some purpose in mind, she goes out to play somewhere on the island every day.

Shiki Kamiyama — voiced by Fairouz Ai

The girl pursuing an oni.

“Hey, do you know about the oni said to have lived on this island?”

A girl who loves to travel and has come to Torishirojima. She walks all over Japan collecting old stories about oni, visiting the island to hear the legends said to remain there.

Although she says this is her first visit, she turns up in places even the residents do not know.

She is skilled at survival, particularly at finding things to eat—or so she should be. Yet she is found collapsed with hunger in all sorts of places on the island. Give her a rice ball and she becomes obedient.
