The steel giants set sail on a new voyage
Super Robot Wars is a simulation RPG that brings robots from different anime together across the boundaries between their works to fight a common enemy. By its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2016, the series had released more than 90 titles, including budget reissues.
V is the second title commemorating that anniversary and the first Super Robot Wars game featuring licensed robot-anime works on PlayStation 4. It renews the setting so that newcomers can enjoy it, with an original story that concludes within this game.
The dream collaboration gathers 26 robot-anime works. Cross Ange, The Brave Express Might Gaine, Shin Mazinger ZERO vs. Great General of Darkness, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash and Crossbone Gundam: Skull Heart make their series debuts. Space Battleship Yamato 2199 appears as a new crossover experiment. Experience a new story shaped by 25 years of the series’ evolution.
