Tales of Arise celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Tales of series: an RPG for everyone living in a new era.

Two neighbouring worlds, Dahna and Rena. Three hundred years ago, Dahna was a world full of nature. After a sudden invasion by Rena, a world of advanced science and magic, it was forced into unending servitude.

One day, a young man from Dahna whose face is covered by an iron mask meets a girl from Rena who is being pursued by her own people.

This unexpected encounter is only the beginning of a story that will shake the destinies of both worlds.

As the latest title marking 25 years since the first Tales of game, Tales of Arise inherits the series' traditions while making major advances, with releases supporting PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Dahna is a land of oppression and division. The Renans destroyed what had once been a beautiful, abundant world and ruled it by forcing its people into servitude.

As Alphen and his companions are caught up in the many conspiracies surrounding this land, they confront tyranny and eventually learn the truth about their world.

PlayStation 5 upgrade for the physical PlayStation 4 edition

Owners of the physical PlayStation 4 edition can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version at no additional charge. The physical edition cannot be upgraded using a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition without a disc drive.
