PlayStation 4 Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn Edition

Flames become a new barrier, and a forgotten mask awakens

Three hundred years of domination. A mysterious mask. Lost pain and memories. Wield a mighty sword of flame and stand with your companions against your oppressors.

This edition originally paired the globally successful Tales of Arise main game with the major Beyond the Dawn expansion.

For this Used edition, the disc contains the Tales of Arise main game, with the same content as the version released on 9 September 2021. The digital expansion and associated digital items described below are not guaranteed with this Used copy.

Tales of Arise

This entry in the Tales of series commemorates twenty-five years since the first game's release.

To develop the series' familiar, illustrated fantasy style while taking advantage of modern hardware, the team created and refined its own Atmos Shader.

Expressive, painting-like strokes harmonise delicately with shifting light, atmosphere and characters that feel physically present, creating a deeply immersive art style.

The battle system enhances stylishness and the tactile feel of action while pursuing the exhilaration of fighting together.

The sweeping drama is another major attraction, using greatly improved facial CG to deepen the player's empathy with the characters.

Set across two planets marked by division and domination, the story follows the struggles and growth of protagonists who rise up in search of freedom.

It explores the meaning of freedom in a way that speaks to an age in which everyone is raising their voice for diversity.

This game is for longtime Tales of fans and RPG fans around the world living in a new era.

Two neighbouring worlds, Dahna and Rena

Three hundred years ago, Dahna was a world abundant in nature. Since a sudden invasion by Rena, where advanced science and magic flourished, it has been forced into unending subjugation.

One day, a young Dahnan man whose face is covered by an iron mask meets a young Renan woman being pursued by her own people.

This unexpected encounter is only the beginning of a story that will shake the destinies of both worlds.

Beyond the Dawn: the original expansion's story

Beyond the Dawn takes place after the ending of the Tales of Arise main game.

One year has passed since the battle to liberate the two worlds.

Alphen and his companions encounter a shadowed young girl named Nazamil.

Because she has both Dahnan and Renan blood, Nazamil belongs in neither world. Alphen and his friends offer her their protection, but—.

Nazamil, the child of a lord, becomes captivated by a cursed mask, bringing a new crisis.

Gather with Alphen and his six companions and save the world once again.

With an expected play time of around twenty hours, this substantial story depicts the world after Tales of Arise.

Numerous episodes show what becomes of the companions, alongside new dungeons, side quests and six additional costumes for the party.

Original Beyond the Dawn Expansion contents

Beyond the Dawn presents a lengthy story featuring new adventures for the party members, new dungeons and side quests.

Special Data includes six additional costumes and content focusing on the protagonist and heroine.

The New Journey Support Pack contains additional items: 50,000 gald, five level-ups, 100 CP and a complete set of fishing gear.

These details describe the edition's original digital expansion; only the base game is recorded on the disc, and the expansion is not guaranteed with a Used copy.
