PlayStation 4 The House of the Dead: Remake Z Version

The world of The House of the Dead returns

The House of the Dead comes back to life with beautiful graphics and new features!

The House of the Dead first appeared in arcades in 1997 as an on-rails gun-shooting game. This title, which influenced numerous horror games, returns with modern production quality.

Popular systems from the original, including branching routes and multiple endings, remain intact, while the graphics take a major step forward into HD.

New features add more reasons to keep playing, creating a game for original fans and casual players alike.

Evolution that respects the original

The foundations of the game respect the original, including its four-stage structure, branching paths and intuitive controls.

Improved graphics make its horror world more realistic and greatly increase the exhilaration of shooting down the zombies attacking you.

Giving the zombies individual characteristics, such as weaknesses, also adds greater strategic depth. The result is an evolved horror game designed for a broad range of players.

New features for deeper replay value

Horde Mode throws an extraordinary number of zombies at you.

Unlockable weapons let you enjoy playing with more than just a handgun.

Achievements can be earned according to your accomplishments in play.

Alongside these replay features, Photo Mode lets you freely take pictures during play. Sharing the screenshots you take can help bring the player community to life.

The Gallery lets you examine zombies' movements and weaknesses, and even discover information that was previously unrevealed.

Physical-edition stickers

The physical edition originally includes two types of original stickers inspired by the zombies, weapons and arcade cabinet.

For this Used copy, the presence and condition of the stickers and other physical accessories depend on the individual item.
