The Lost Child presents a world of mythological concepts following the lineage of El Shaddai. A new mythological-conception RPG begins in a modern setting.

Unseen Layers

In the land where this new mythology begins, there are Layers that no one has yet seen.

The game takes place in the country whose capital is Tokyo. Across this country lie spaces called Layers: gaps between dimensions, separate from the human world.

The world’s mythology

Amid infinite chaos, God defined light.

At the centre of the universe, God created the planet Seta, which governed the geocentric order, and Lucifel.

But when God saw a sense of self in his eyes, God devised the Metatron Plan. The righteous Enoch carried out that plan, and the planet Seta disappeared.

God subsequently created the planet Ryuta, which governed the heliocentric order. It became Earth, one among the stars spread throughout the universe.

With his role completed, Enoch divided his abundant remaining power into 72 fragments. As Lucifel fell into a deep sleep, he dreamed of wandering the Earth.

This is the story of those fragments that fell to Earth.

Adventure and investigation

As in the real world, many different rumours circulate in everyday life. Travel to different locations, speak with the people there and gather information through your own investigations.

The tablet menu

Use the tablet to check the Astrals’ status. You can view many kinds of information, including their parameters and the skills they possess.

Turn-based command battles

Combat uses a turn-based command system. Switch Astrals according to the situation.

The power of Astrals you have captured, brought under your command and made into allies provides considerable help in battle.

Astral skills

Using the skills your Astrals possess lets you gain an advantage in combat. There are many effects and types, including healing, magic and defence.

Hayato Ibuki

Hayato is a writer for LOST, a magazine dealing with modern mysteries.

Although he has a practical outlook, perhaps because of his work he is also willing to accept unknown beings whose existence cannot be measured by human capabilities. He is investigating the “purple woman” rumoured to appear at various places around Tokyo.

One day, while investigating, a mysterious woman saves his life in the subway. She entrusts him with Gangour, a magical gun capable of capturing demons.

From the day he takes Gangour in hand, his destiny as a chosen one begins.

The manufacturer presentation also introduces Barcia (バルシア), Lua and Lucifel.
