Story: awakening and meeting

Civilization has collapsed in a world contaminated by toxic fungi.

Amid the ruins of what was once a factory, a discarded robot awakens in a scrap heap.

Wandering through the ruins, it discovers a girl, Toriko, asleep and weakened amid fungal threads.

She is young and frail. Contamination has made her body a growing bed for fungi, and mushrooms sprout from it.

Seeing her lying silently, the robot feels that it cannot simply leave her. A desire to help and care for the dying Toriko awakens within it.

But the ruined world is not an environment in which she can live. To protect her, the robot must build an isolated terrarium where she can survive.

The caretaker robot

A robot discarded in a scrap heap, it unexpectedly develops a sense of self.

While exploring the ruins, it encounters Toriko, covered in mushrooms.

It belongs to a model once popular as a household robot.

Toriko

Hundreds of years have passed since civilization disappeared. Why she alone has survived in this world is a mystery.

Unable to live in a world contaminated by toxic fungi, she is cared for by the robot within the terrarium.

Factory AI

This artificial intelligence manages a hastily constructed, self-proliferating shelter left behind by humanity. It has spent hundreds of lonely years entirely alone.

It offers to cooperate in helping Toriko. Unlike the robot, it cannot move, but it supports exploration and care with knowledge and information from its database.

A bond nurtured in a ruined world

The girl is the last survivor in a contaminated world where humanity has perished. The caretaker robot struggles to help her and keep her alive.

Find safe food, decorate the terrarium stylishly, and explore dangerous ruins for medicinal ingredients when she becomes ill.

Humanity has died out, leaving plants and machines as the world's new inhabitants.

Ruins swallowed by abnormally developed plants and machine factories that continue operating in vain after humanity's extinction form a decaying, post-apocalyptic world, depicted with a fantastical and delicate touch.

Arrange Toriko's home

The terrarium sheltering Toriko can be arranged with many objects, including furniture, plants and stuffed animals.

Prepare an environment in which she can comfortably wait for the robot to return while alone.

The objects you place may cause Toriko to perform special actions.

Explore the ruins

Everything needed to care for Toriko is obtained in the ruins, which serve as dungeons.

These self-proliferating ruins are irregular structures that change shape whenever you enter to explore.

They are remnants of humanity's lost civilization. The building's characteristics determine the enemies encountered and the kinds of materials available.

A roguelike in which the same adventure never happens twice

The ruins and dungeons explored by the robot are randomly generated. Each time you enter, your level starts again at one, allowing different growth on every expedition.

Gain tremendous attack power, defeat enemies safely from a distance, avoid traps to gain an advantage, or make full use of items. Every player can build a completely different style of play.

The dangers facing Toriko

Even protected by a terrarium, Toriko is never entirely safe.

If contamination accumulates or hunger continues, her health deteriorates. She may catch a cold or show a variety of other symptoms.
