PlayStation 4 We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie

Have you been getting enough rolling lately?

The King of All Cosmos accidentally destroyed all the stars in the universe. He sent his son, the Prince, to Earth and ordered him to make a big katamari.

The Prince rolled up all kinds of things on Earth, making his katamari bigger and bigger. The katamari he created floated into space, sparkling and restoring the lost starry sky.

After the stars were restored, the King's fans gradually grew in number all around the world. Wanting to answer their calls for more royal accomplishments and make everyone's dreams come true, the King has the Prince rolling katamari again today.

That is the kind of game this is.

We Love Katamari returns as a remaster

We Love Katamari, the second game in the Katamari series, originally released in 2005, returns in remastered form.

Its visuals have been improved while preserving the distinctive Katamari style and its gameplay of rolling, gathering everything and growing bigger. Parts of the user interface have also been revised to make the game easier to play.

Royal Reverie: even a great King has a past

The King grew up under the Great King's strict instruction. New challenges let you roll as the King in his childhood, bringing together his difficult studies and days of intense training across five challenges.

Can the young King overcome these demanding tasks?

The Great King's Spartan teaching and succession of grueling training sessions await. Take on his challenges to become a magnificent King.

In Royal Reverie, you can roll through stages as the little King, as well as the Prince and his cousins.

The King is usually rather frightening, but the sight of him earnestly rolling his katamari is sure to win your heart.

Simple, yet wonderfully deep

Roll your katamari, gather objects and make it bigger.

You can roll up anything: paper clips and sweets inside a house, utility poles and buildings in town, and even living creatures such as people and animals.

Once your katamari is complete, it becomes a star that lights up the night sky. Clear the requests set by the fans and create lots of stars!

You cannot gather anything larger than your katamari, so the key is to plan the order in which you roll around each stage.

A gorgeous new graphics option

Alongside the original Katamari-style matte graphics, you can select a gorgeous graphics mode that uses real-time lighting and adds reflections and metallic effects.

Selfies while you roll

A new selfie feature becomes available when you equip the camera present.

The Prince and his cousins can now snap souvenir photos while rolling through a stage.

Choose your music

The Katamari series is known for its unique music. The music-selection feature lets you choose your favorite background tracks and turn them into a playlist.

You need to select at least two tracks to create a playlist.

More welcome conveniences

New additions include Eternal Mode, which lets you roll with no time limit; navigation that shows your destination; and shortcuts that make it easier to find the stage you want to play. These features make the game easier to enjoy than when it originally appeared in 2005.
