From Nippon Ichi Software comes Xicatrice, a school RPG combining supernatural abilities with school life.

Live your daily life at school as a teacher and, when emergencies arise, lead a special unit of students into dangerous missions.

The depth of devising better builds from an enormous range of skills combines with highly flexible character development, letting each player enjoy a different approach to overcoming challenges.

Story

About a century has passed since humanity began awakening to supernatural powers known as abilities.

Some people use these powers to contribute to society. Others misuse them, or lose control of them and run wild. Incidents involving ability users have continued without end.

Amid this situation, a special class called RAUT, a reserve unit for dealing with abnormal abilities, is established in the name of protecting and training children whose abilities have awakened.

Although they are still students, these young people are sometimes mobilized to resolve incidents involving abilities.

The story begins in 2023, when a teacher who lost their ability following a particular incident is assigned to RAUT Squad 302.

Plan your students' development through daily lessons

As their teacher, you plan a class schedule each week and develop seven students.

As they grow, the students learn skills they can use in battle.

Their development can affect more than combat: it may also influence school-life events such as regular examinations.

An enormous range of skills for highly flexible builds

There is a limit to how many skills you can equip, so selecting which ones to keep or leave out according to your opponent is the key to success.

There are around three hundred active and passive skills in total. Even skills that seem difficult to use may reveal their true value when combined effectively.

Proposals and choices: fight together through command battles

Battles use a command system in which you select just one action per turn from the actions proposed by your students.

The seven students fight as RAUT against monstrous aberrations born from people's negative emotions and criminals who wield supernatural abilities.

Having lost your own ability, you cannot participate directly in combat. You must guide your students to victory with precise leadership.
