Night comes to take you away

The sequel to Yomawari: Night Alone, released in 2015 and with cumulative sales of more than 50,000 copies, arrives on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as Yomawari: Midnight Shadows.

In this game, two young girls explore an eerie town at night. Separated in its streets, they wander through a nighttime world very different from the daytime town as they search for one another.

Explore the roads at night

Yomawari: Midnight Shadows follows the original Yomawari game released for PlayStation Vita in October 2015. This action game explores nighttime roads with the fear lurking in the darkness as its theme.

Two girls become separated on their way home from a fireworks festival. Each searches the nighttime town for the other.

The only light they can rely on is the flashlight in their hands. As you continue exploring, you may discover something along the way.

Ghosts lurking in the darkness

In the shade of mountain trees, around street corners and beneath streetlights, strange ghosts lurk where they can go unnoticed. Some attack the girls with malicious intent.

A wider, deeper nighttime world

Some areas switch to a side-view perspective, as though you have wandered into a pop-up storybook.

New indoor stages include a library and a ruined Western-style mansion. The overall map is more than twice the size of the previous game’s map.

Equip the new Omamori charms introduced in this game to receive beneficial effects.
