Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Album celebrates thirty-five years of the puzzle series, first introduced in 1991, through a musical chain reaction assembled by sound director Hideki Abe. SEGA Music's two-CD commemorative release brings together eighty-six tracks spanning the series' history.

The first disc, Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Non-Stop, connects fifty-four tracks from SEGA's games in three sections: Historically Arranged Non-Stop, Poppin' Puzzle FUN Non-Stop and Puyo Puyo Boss Rush! Non-Stop. Familiar melodies, puzzle themes and boss battles flow together in a continuous celebration of the series' music.

The second disc, Puyo Puyo 35th Anniversary DAIRENSA! Selection, presents thirty-two selected recordings. Its vocal section features Arle, Ringo, Sig, Klug, Yu and Rei, Amitie, Popoi, Maguro, Ally and Atari, voiced by Mie Sonozaki, Asami Imai, Yuriko Fuchizaki, Tamaki Nakanishi, Shiho Kikuchi, Miwa Kozuki, Yuki Ishikari, Honoka Inoue and Saran Tajima. Music from Puyo Puyo!! Touch and Puyo Puyo!! Quest appears on CD for the first time. Rare arrangements from other games and the anniversary collaboration Punitto Puyo Puyo by Punipuni Denki add further variety.

The accompanying booklet includes comments from Puyo Puyo general producer Mizuki Hosoyamada and sound director Hideki Abe, completing this musical journey through the series.
