Ramen Akaneko Animation

A distinctive workplace story follows everyday life with the cats at a ramen shop run by cats. Ramen Akaneko brings their warm, lively world to Blu-ray.

Tamako, a human, arrives at Ramen Akaneko for a part-time job interview. When she honestly admits that she prefers dogs, she is hired straight away and given the task of looking after the cats. Brushing their fur reveals glimpses of the cats' lives, while a wide variety of customers brings an equally varied tapestry of human stories. Ramen Akaneko warms both body and heart: enjoy a generous helping of affection.

The set comes in a wraparound slipcase featuring a newly drawn illustration, with digipak packaging and an enclosed booklet.

Bonus material includes audio commentaries for episodes 1, 4, 11 and 12, the music video for Lovely Yay Yay, a Love Pipi dance practice video, stage greetings from the June 15 advance screening, a collection of promotional videos and the textless ending sequence.
