Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Animation

Because he is not alone, he can fight again and again. The long-awaited third season of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- began airing in October 2024, depicting the largest-scale battle in the series’ history.

On his way home from a convenience store, Subaru Natsuki was suddenly summoned to another world. With nothing to rely on, the powerless boy acquired only one ability: Return by Death, which rewinds time when he dies. To protect those dear to him and recover the irreplaceable time they once shared, he must resist despair and confront cruel fate once more.

The television adaptation first swept audiences around the world into excitement in 2016. It was followed by the theatrical releases of the original OVAs Memory Snow in 2018 and The Frozen Bond in 2019, then the second season broadcast across 2020 and 2021. The third season brings vivid expression to a breathtaking succession of developments, with new characters joining the familiar faces.

A year has passed since the liberation of the Sanctuary, after Subaru’s companions repelled Elsa’s fierce attacks and he formed a contract with Beatrice during the battle against the Great Rabbit. United as they prepare for the royal selection, Emilia’s camp has been enjoying fulfilling days. Their peace ends when a messenger delivers a letter.

It is an invitation from Anastasia, one of the candidates for the royal selection, addressed to Emilia. She invites them to Priestella, the watergate city counted among Lugunica’s five great cities. Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his companions arrive to find several reunions awaiting them: one unexpected, one unintended, and one destined to come. Malice begins to stir beneath the surface, and an unprecedented crisis descends. Once again, the boy stands against a harsh destiny.
