Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Animation

Because he is not alone, he can fight again and again. The long-awaited third season depicts the largest battle in Re:Zero’s history.

On his way home from a convenience store, Subaru Natsuki was suddenly summoned to another world. Powerless and with nothing to rely on, the boy gained only one ability: Return by Death, which turns back time when he dies.

To protect the people dear to him and recover the irreplaceable days they once shared, Subaru must once again resist despair and face a cruel fate.

Following the television anime that captivated audiences around the world in 2016, the new original animations Memory Snow and The Frozen Bond reached cinemas in 2018 and 2019. The second season followed in 2020–2021. The eagerly awaited third season began broadcasting in October 2024.

A year has passed since the liberation of the Sanctuary, where Subaru repelled Elsa’s fierce assault and formed his contract with Beatrice during the battle against the Great Rabbit. Emilia’s camp is united as it prepares for the royal selection, and Subaru has been enjoying fulfilling days. Their peace ends when a messenger delivers a letter.

It is an invitation addressed to Emilia from Anastasia, another royal selection candidate, asking her to visit Priestella, the watergate city counted among Lugunica’s five great cities.

Subaru and his companions accept and travel to Priestella, where several reunions await them: one surprising, one unintended, and one inevitable. Malice is stirring beneath the surface, and an unprecedented crisis descends. Once more, the boy must confront his harsh destiny.

The release includes the Re:Zero Break Time mini-anime, audio commentaries and web previews with newly written narration, alongside a preview of the next season.
