When his missing wife's remains are found, pastry chef Riku Hayase is framed for her murder. Accountant Ichika Kogo offers him an extraordinary escape: adopt the face of corrupt detective Ayumu Gido and investigate from inside the police. Leaving his family and former identity behind, Hayase enters a web of corporate crime while a relentless inspector watches his every move.
Ryohei Suzuki plays the two opposing identities, with Erika Toda as Ichika and Kenichi Matsuyama as Hayase before his transformation. Tsutomu Kuroiwa's original screenplay combines a murder investigation with a family's struggle to survive, accompanied by Mr.Children's theme song "Again."
The four-disc box includes all 10 episodes, 524 minutes of main programming and 271 minutes of extras. Supplements include making-of footage, a Suzuki/Matsuyama conversation, a production roundtable, unseen Reboot Channel footage, filming wrap-ups, the production press conference, special episode-one commentary, the episode-two talk event, episode-three visual commentary and promotional spots. A booklet is included.
