Reincarnated as a Sword Animation

Beyond strength lies a new adventure. Reincarnated as a Sword brings the unusual fantasy of rebirth as an inanimate object to animation, based on a series with more than 2.3 million copies in circulation. Shin-ichiro Miki voices Teacher, with Ai Kakuma as the Black Cat girl Fran, joined by Ami Koshimizu and Wataru Hatano. Animation studio C2C, known for Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina and Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, combines spectacular action with the warmth of everyday life.

Reborn in another world as an intelligent weapon—a sword—he spends his days alone gathering skills and dreaming of finding someone who will wield him. Then he carelessly enters the Draining Forest, where his magical power is absorbed and he can no longer move. While trapped there, he encounters Fran, a young Black Cat girl suffering under slavery.

Fran is attacked by a huge magical beast and faces certain death. Pulling the sword from the ground before her, she uses his power to escape. She names him Teacher and becomes his wielder. Together they become adventurers, completing quests and sharpening their skills. Fran pursues the evolution that lies beyond greater strength; Teacher wants to fulfill her wish. A cat-eared girl and a sword with an overprotective parent’s heart set out on their adventure.
