Scar on the Praeter Stage Blu-ray

Tokyo: the Akatsuki Special District. The city has been abandoned by the state and become a lawless zone. Its protectors are the Scard, people bearing tattoos that seal the powers of gods.

The government planned a new special economic zone and transferred administrative authority to the major corporation Sakishima Holdings. Rival companies plotted over advantages such as tax reductions applied only within the district, triggering the large-scale Akatsuki Conflict. Internal administration collapsed, and Sakishima Holdings was dismantled. The Akatsuki Special District became an unmanaged area beyond the reach of state authority.

There were men who protected this lawless city. People carrying Divine Tattoos, which contain the power of raging divine beasts, are known as Scard. Each tattoo grants its bearer a unique special ability and defensive power strong enough to neutralize every attack: bullets burst apart before reaching their bodies, and blades shatter. Using their tattoos, Helios protects the city, Artemis protects its organization and the Public Security Special Service protects order. These emerging forces establish themselves in Akatsuki. Even as small-scale conflicts continue daily, each upholds their own justice. This is a story of their ordinary daily lives amid turbulent times.

The two-disc Blu-ray contains the 159-minute stage performance and 104 minutes of extras. Backstage footage follows the production from the rehearsal room through the final Tokyo performance, alongside a collection of changing daily curtain calls. A special booklet is enclosed.
