In mid-twenty-first-century Tokyo, criminal syndicates rule the underworld through bosses transformed into Demon Lords by ether-enhancement surgery. The bounty hunters who bring them down are known as Heroes. With the drug E3 boosting their own ether abilities, these fighters operate under laws that authorize killing, making heroism a brutal profession.
Freelance Hero Yashiro, known as the Reaper, finds himself saddled with Aki Jogamine, a high-school student who declares herself his apprentice. Reluctantly accepting the trainee draws him into a succession of dangerous cases in this contemporary supernatural action series based on Rocket Shokai's work.
Volume 4 contains episodes 19 through 24, together with the second cour's promotional-video and commercial collection and audio commentary for two episodes. The Japanese cast features Ryota Suzuki as Yashiro, Akari Kito as Aki Jogamine, Momo Harumi as Yukine Indo, Yumiri Hanamori as Sara Kashiwagi Pendragon, Hinata Tadokoro as Salt Joe, Daisuke Hirakawa as Ishino and Yasuhiro Takato as Maruta. The Blu-ray presents Japanese stereo Linear PCM audio without subtitles.
