SEGA Rally Championship 30th Anniversary Album brings the racing game's arcade and Sega Saturn music together under the supervision of Takenobu Mitsuyoshi and Naofumi Hataya. The two-CD set celebrates both the Saturn's thirtieth anniversary and the original arcade game's milestone.
Forty-three tracks combine the original recordings with three newly arranged pieces and a karaoke version. Shoji Meguro contributes guitar to GETTING MUDDY -2024-, while MY DEAR FRIEND, RALLY receives a new vocal arrangement featuring Mitsuyoshi. DESERT REPLAY is reworked by Kenichi Tokoi.
The accompanying booklet includes comments from Mitsuyoshi, Hataya, Tatsuya Kozaki, Tokoi and guest performer Meguro, giving context to the music and its new arrangements.
