Shiho Terada steps into her first solo album with Departure, a collection of music conceived around light. Known for work spanning Pretty Cure, GARO, NHK documentaries and arrangements for JAM Project, she writes melodies intended to bring brightness to the heart, offer companionship and gently encourage the listener.
The ten tracks include the original themes for Cosmic Front and Cosmic Front NEXT, whose music she began creating in 2015. Newly recorded self-covers of both themes join Pray, My Home Town and Beautiful Life, with piano-solo versions of ENCOUNTER IN SPACE and Pray revealing another perspective on the music.
