Shinigami Tsukai no Jikencho Stage & Musicals

A murder in a theater? An exceptionally difficult mystery begins. Can the ghost detective solve the case?

In the emptiness, Genshiro dreams of his late father, Gentayu Kusaka. Gentayu fights evil spirits, then dies, entrusting his feelings to Genshiro.

When Genshiro awakens, he finds himself in an unfamiliar world. He drifts in a boat through a world without end. He should have used up all his life to save Ofuji and defeat Mizuno. Why is this happening? Then a voice comes from somewhere: 'You have not died yet...'

Bewildered, Genshiro is swallowed by light. In the next instant, he is in town. He soon realizes that nobody can see him: he has become a ghost.

The ghostly Genshiro meets Jakuren Osorezan, who is known to the world as a fraudulent medium but can talk to him and other ghosts; Sajuro Ichimura, a ghost like himself; and the death god Amon, who appears in pursuit of Sajuro. Genshiro becomes involved in a murder at a kabuki troupe. Through an unexpected turn of events, he teams up with Amon and begins investigating as a ghost detective.
