Shosen Hitogoto desu kara: Toaru Bengoshi no Honne no Shigoto Blu-ray Box stars Kento Nakajima as Osamu Yasuda, an unconventional young lawyer who specialises in online disputes. His easy smile contrasts with a blunt manner that often drives prospective clients away. Treating a case as someone else's problem may sound heartless, but his detached outlook is part of how he confronts social-media harassment, defamatory posts and the fallout from internet scandals.

At a free legal consultation, Yasuda's manner once again leaves newly appointed paralegal Akari Kagami at a loss. Then housewife and blogger Kozue Kirihara arrives: for the past two days, social networks and message boards have filled with groundless accusations and abuse aimed at her. What initially appears to be another person's distant problem becomes a practical, difficult legal battle with real consequences.

The series adapts the manga created by Masamichi Sato and Katsuhito Fujiya under Yohei Shimizu's legal supervision. It follows consultations and court procedures in detail, showing how easily an ordinary person can become either the target or the source of online harm. Cases from the manga are carried into live action, with additional characters and attention to the changing emotions of both lawyer and client. Its sharp humour sits alongside the darker realities of modern online conflict.

Sei Shiraishi plays Kagami alongside Nakajima, with Jun Hashimoto and Nagisa Katahira among the principal cast. The theme song is HITOGOTO's Hitogoto feat. Kento Nakajima. Across eight episodes, the drama challenges the comfortable assumption that someone else's troubles can always remain someone else's.

Four programme discs contain approximately 365 minutes of drama. A fifth disc adds approximately 90 minutes of material, including a close-up making-of documentary, the pre-broadcast press conference, a special feature about Nakajima's favourite sweets and a cast discussion with Nakajima, Shiraishi and Katahira. A special booklet accompanies the box. The region-free Blu-rays have Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio and no subtitles.
