Space Battleship Yamato Anime

Weigh anchor: Yamato launches! The theatrical presentation of Space Battleship Yamato 2199, previously available only in cinemas, arrives in its long-awaited first Blu-ray box. An essential opportunity to revisit the series before Space Battleship Yamato 2205: A New Voyage.

Like the original cinema presentations, the chapters include introductory digest footage. Its deluxe slipcase features a newly drawn illustration of Space Battleship Yamato by Junichiro Tamamori.

All seven chapters are included: Disc 1, Chapter One: The Distant Departure; Disc 2, Chapter Two: Desperate Battle in the Solar System; Disc 3, Chapter Three: The Endless Voyage; Disc 4, Chapter Four: Battle at the Galactic Frontier; Disc 5, Chapter Five: Homesickness in Intergalactic Space; Disc 6, Chapter Six: Arrival at the Large Magellanic Cloud; and Disc 7, Chapter Seven: And the Ship Sails On. The cinema-version digest footage accompanies Chapters Two through Seven. Includes a special explanatory booklet and the newly illustrated slipcase.

The external retailer campaign offering three illustration sheets, including setting art, reproduced original art and a mecha illustration by Junichiro Tamamori, has ended and is not included.
