Hideo Nakata returns to the haunted-property stories inspired by comedian Tanishi Matsubara's experiences, with Shota Watanabe as aspiring entertainer Yahiro Kuwata. Unable to abandon his ambitions, Yahiro leaves Fukuoka for Tokyo and finds an unusual niche: living in properties associated with violent deaths and other disturbing events.
A room said to possess every resident, an ominous old inn and a share house linked to seances provide material for his work, but each address also conceals a mystery. His kindness and unusual susceptibility to spirits leave him vulnerable to increasingly frightening encounters, until one property leads him to an unexpected truth. Mei Hata and Kotaro Yoshida co-star, with music by fox capture plan and Snow Man's theme song "SERIOUS."
This edition presents the 113-minute film with its teaser and theatrical trailer. Japanese original soundtracks in 5.1 surround and stereo are accompanied by a Japanese audio-description track and Japanese accessibility subtitles.
