Street Fighter CASSETRON Game Music

How much stronger can you become? The Super Famicom and Mega Drive sounds of Street Fighter II finally receive their long-awaited release in the second soundtrack celebrating the series’ thirty-fifth anniversary.

In 1993, Shadaloo’s Four Kings came into our homes. Street Fighter II became a social phenomenon, drawing in children and adults who could not get to the arcades. The music from its upgraded home versions, Street Fighter II Turbo for Super Famicom and Street Fighter II Dash Plus, known internationally as Special Champion Edition, for Mega Drive, is released as a standalone soundtrack for the first time. With timbres distinct from the original arcade version, this is the sound of the Street Fighter II we played at home.
