Super Sentai TV Series

Celebrating fifty years of Super Sentai, the Ikkyo Mi collection lets you revisit legendary teams from their beginnings through their power-ups and the climaxes of their battles. This selection follows Denji Sentai Megaranger, Seiju Sentai Gingaman, Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive, Mirai Sentai Timeranger and Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger. Trace the warriors who carried the series from the twentieth century into the twenty-first, as visual storytelling, action and drama continued to evolve.

In Megaranger, five high-school students become game-inspired warriors entrusted with Earth’s peace. Their formation is followed by Super Galaxy Mega’s first appearance and the arrival of a sixth hero, Mega Silver. The formidable Nejirangers then appear. After a fierce battle with Yugande, the team faces a final struggle with victory and graduation at stake.

Gingaman follows warriors of nature who fight with the power of Earth. Their battle with the space pirates Balban begins, and Gingaioh is born. A continuing story reveals that Hyuga is alive and brings him into the fight as the Black Knight. At the climax, the warriors’ legend reaches its conclusion.

GoGoFive is the rescue team of 1999, for whom human lives are Earth’s future. Its opening battle showcases spectacular effects, before the arrival of Grand Liner and its miraculous teamwork with Victory Robo mark further advances in the team’s strength. Following a Christmas adventure, the five siblings give everything in their decisive final battle.

Timeranger brings the science of the year 3000 to the Super Sentai of the year 2000. Its sweeping story crosses a thousand years, followed by Time Robo’s first battle. The arrival of TimeFire brings the action to a new height. The finale portrays the farewell between four people from the future and Tatsuya Asami, who lives in the present.

Gaoranger leads the series into the twenty-first century as its twenty-fifth team. Gao Red is born as the fifth warrior, and the Spirit King Gao King appears. The story then introduces the sixth warrior, Gao Silver, before the opening of the final struggle and its grand conclusion.
