Sympathy 2023, the orchestral concert celebrating the tenth anniversary of Sega’s online RPG PSO2 and the thirty-fifth anniversary of the Phantasy Star series that began it all, was held at Bunkamura Orchard Hall.
As part of the PSO2 tenth-anniversary project, fans voted for the piece they most wanted to hear with vocals. The winning choice was Unfathomable Darkness, the battle music for the Profound Darkness in PSO2 EPISODE 3. This commemorative concert presents the world premiere of its vocal version.
The commemorative performance brings guest vocalists together with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, offering an orchestral celebration of the series and its music.
