Teasing Master Takagi-san Animation

A small encounter, a summer of new beginnings. The theatrical story of Teasing Master Takagi-san arrives on Blu-ray.

At a junior high school, Nishikata is constantly teased by Takagi, the girl who sits beside him. He devises one plan after another to tease her back, but she always sees right through him.

The seasons pass, and the pair enter their third year. Those around them begin to think about the future, with anxiety and anticipation mingling together. Yet the distance between Takagi and Nishikata remains unchanged. Their last summer of junior high school is about to begin.

On the day before the summer holidays, the two happen upon a small kitten on their way home. They name it Hana and decide to care for it in the grounds of a shrine until they can find its mother. Watching Hana gradually grow attached to them, they spend their days together. The happy midsummer days brought by this little encounter nurture new feelings.

The deluxe presentation includes supplementary footage exploring the film’s setting and commemorating its theatrical release. The first pressing features a newly illustrated outer case, a digipak, a special booklet and an illustration card created for this edition. Once limited first-press stock is exhausted, a regular pressing containing the film and video extras may replace it under the same product reference. Bonus contents and specifications are subject to change.
