West of the Jura Tempest Federation lies the small kingdom of Raja. Once prosperous from gold mining, the country has lost all trace of its former wealth, its lake poisoned by mining and its future in peril. Queen Towa uses the magic of a tiara handed down through the royal family to remove the poison and protect her people. But the tiara's curse spreads throughout her body as the price for doing so, eating away at her life.

Hiiro, a surviving ogre, suddenly appears in Tempest. Once like an older brother to Benimaru and his companions, he survived because Towa saved his life. Seeking to protect his rescuer and Raja, Hiiro asks Tempest's Rimuru for help and is fatefully reunited with Benimaru. Rimuru and his companions head for Raja to save it and unravel Towa's curse... An astonishing conspiracy awaits them there!
