Mineji Sakamoto's character designs and rough drawings cover around 50 characters across all ten volumes, offering a closer view of the cast beyond the finished book illustrations.

Makoto Sanda contributes a newly written, 16-page glossary with approximately 70 entries devoted to the Case Files. The full-colour Japanese reference book uses a modified B5 format. It contains major story spoilers and is best read after the novels.
