The Confidence Man JP TV Series

What you see is not necessarily the truth. What is real and what is a lie? Only God knows the truth. Welcome to the world of the confidence man.

Dako, played by Masami Nagasawa, chooses investor Akira Akutsu, played by Kazuki Kitamura, as her target. He is an investor in name only: in reality he is a dangerous loan shark who also runs gambling poker operations. Dako forces Boku-chan, played by Masahiro Higashide, and the others into approaching him, but Akutsu has seen through their identities and takes the fifty million yen they prepared as display money.

According to Richard's fortune-telling, Dako's luck will keep declining. Exasperated by her refusal to abandon revenge, Boku-chan and Richard, played by Fumiyo Kohinata, leave her. Boku-chan begins working at an estate-clearing company headed by Wakaba Watanabe, played by Miho Nakayama.

Meanwhile, Richard enjoys surfing in a seaside town and becomes attracted to Namiko Nirayama, played by Ryoko Hirosue, a widow who runs a Chinese restaurant alone. With the help of Igarashi, played by Shinya Kote, Dako prepares to challenge Akutsu once again.

This Blu-ray contains the main television special, a collection of television commercials and the audio extra Igarashi's Sweet Room. The main program runs 104 minutes.
