Konoha Sato once wrote an extravagant fantasy of romance and magic with a heroine named after herself. When she wakes inside that embarrassing story, she discovers that she has not become its beloved protagonist at all: she is Iana Magnolia, the notorious villainess. Knowing the disasters her younger self wrote into the plot, Iana must avoid one fatal turn after another while watching over the heroine and trying to secure a peaceful future.
Adapted from Akiharu Toka's manga in LaLa, The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess combines romantic comedy with the uncomfortable experience of confronting one's youthful imagination. Hiroaki Sakurai directs the Studio Deen animation, with music by Ryuichi Takada of MONACA. Yoshino Aoyama voices Iana, joined by M.A.O, Shohei Komatsu, Makoto Furukawa, Shunichi Toki, Arthur Lounsbery, Atsushi Tamaru and Tomoaki Maeno. KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE performs the opening theme, Black Flame.
This concluding volume contains episodes 7-12, approximately 144 minutes, plus around three minutes of extras comprising the clean ending sequence and commercials. The widescreen Blu-ray has Japanese Linear PCM audio and no subtitles.
