The Faraway Paladin Anime

The boy who lived in a city of the dead begins his journey toward becoming a paladin.

In a ruined city of the dead, far from human settlements, there lives one living child: Will. Three undead beings raise him: Blood, a hearty skeletal swordsman; Mary, a gentle priestess mummy; and Gus, a stubborn wizard ghost. Taught and loved by these three, the boy grows up. In time, a question takes root within him: 'Who exactly am I?'

Will uncovers the mysteries borne by the undead in this remote city, the love and mercy of benevolent gods, and the obsession and madness of evil gods. When he learns all of it, the boy begins walking the path of the paladin.
