The House of the Lost on the Cape Regular Edition Blu-ray

Seventeen-year-old Yui has lost the place where she belongs. She arrives at Mayoiga, an old house overlooking the sea that feels both nostalgic and warmly welcoming. In Iwate, a mysterious legend tells of a house that offers hospitality to anyone who visits.

At the Mayoiga on the cape, Yui begins a strange but comforting shared life with a new family unrelated by blood. A nostalgic fantasy begins, gently wrapping the heart in warmth.

Yui has left home because of difficult circumstances. Eight-year-old Hiyori has lost her voice from the shock of losing her parents in an accident. With nowhere to belong, the two meet a mysterious elderly woman, Kiwa, and come to live in the old house on a cape above the sea.

Although they followed Kiwa almost by chance, the warmth of both Kiwa and the legendary house gradually eases their wounded hearts. One day, gentle supernatural beings called Fushigitto visit her. They have come to help investigate the strange events occurring throughout the town.

Along with introducing the Fushigitto, Kiwa begins to tell an old local legend about Agame, a being that grows by feeding on people’s sadness. While Agame draws strength from sorrow, the Fushigitto quietly protect people.

Yui is determined that neither her newfound home nor the kind people around her should ever be hurt. Can Yui, Hiyori and Kiwa overcome their pasts and protect the precious place where they have found belonging?
