The Quintessential Quintuplets Animation

The Quintessential Quintuplets brings its romantic comedy to a cinematic conclusion. Based on the popular manga, which surpassed sixteen million copies in circulation, the film follows Futaro and the five sisters as their school days approach their end.

Futaro became a part-time tutor to five girls who disliked studying and stood on the brink of failing, taking on the challenge of guiding them all the way to graduation. Their efforts have paid off: the quintuplets have advanced to their final year of high school. With the school trip safely behind them, each begins to look towards graduation and the future.

As they spend time together, the sisters come to recognise their love for Futaro, and he finds himself increasingly drawn to them. Where will their feelings lead, and which sister will become his future bride? The story’s long-awaited answer brings the quintuplets’ romantic comedy to its finale.

This standard edition includes an illustrated case, a full-colour edition of the Volume 0 comic, a mini shikishi art card and a special booklet. The original one-shot from Weekly Shonen Magazine’s eighth issue of 2017, previously included as a bonus with the first television-anime volume, is presented here in colour to celebrate the film’s home-video release.

Bonus footage includes the release celebration held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on May 22, 2022, the hit-film celebration held at TOHO Cinemas Ikebukuro on July 16, 2022, and four promotional trailers.
