On the Street Again - Tribute & Origin marks forty years since The Street Sliders' 1983 debut. The band's impact on Japanese rock continued after its 2000 breakup, and this two-CD set places new interpretations beside remastered original recordings.
The tribute disc gathers twelve performances by The Birthday, The Cro-Magnons, ALI, YONCE, GEZAN, Reichi Nakaido, Mika Nakashima, Misato Watanabe, Kazuyoshi Saito, Tjiros, SUPER BEAVER and Elephant Kashimashi. Each artist approaches a different part of the band's songbook.
The sixteen-track Origin disc returns to The Street Sliders themselves, including Kaze ga Tsuyoi Hi, Boys Jump the Midnight, Chameleon and Blow the Night!. On the Road Again closes the remastered selection.
