The Tale of the Outcasts Anime

Meeting you changed the world.

From Weekly Shonen Sunday comes a full-fledged battle fantasy set in nineteenth-century Britain, now adapted into anime. A highly anticipated work with a devoted following, it has attracted attention on social media, particularly among fans of the original and female fans. The original manga, serialised in Sunday, has surpassed 200,000 copies in circulation. This deluxe box includes a booklet with newly drawn manga, audio commentary by the accomplished cast and performances by numerous popular voice actors.

The demon beside her is her salvation. The girl beside him is a way to pass the time. In a corner of the British Empire at the end of the nineteenth century, their meeting begins a wandering story in search of a place to belong. A strange tale of a demon and a girl in an unending night whispers to those who share their loneliness.

All 13 television episodes are included. The advertised package features newly drawn jacket artwork and a booklet containing newly drawn manga, originally announced as planned edition. Cast audio commentary and creditless opening and ending sequences are included. Retailer-exclusive gifts are excluded.

Ayana Taketatsu plays Wisteria, Katsuyuki Konishi plays Marbas, Ryota Osaka plays Snow, Risa Imayanagi plays Diana and Junichi Suwabe plays Naberius.

The original broadcast began on January 8, 2023 on TOKYO MX, Yomiuri TV and BS Fuji. Two colour Blu-rays.
